We stayed in the Fitzpatrick Manhattan on the 22nd of Aug for three nights check-in staff were wonderful suite on fourth floor was excellent very clean and being at the back of hotel was very quite very nice lunch on two days. It is in a superb position close to everything and all staff went out of their to be helpful although the weather was like an Irish summer for the three days raining all day every day we really enjoyed our stay Close

We stayed in the Fitzpatricks Manhattan for 3 nights in a suite located on the 4th floor. We arrived hoping that we could check in early. The receptiuon tried to accommadate us but our room hadn't been cleaned yet. They did take our bags and offered us coffee etc. The suite was very nice, lcds in both the bedroom and in the living area. Fridge for drinks etc. However we hadn't been in the room an hour when we got a knock on the door from maintenance requesting us to allow them to "oil the door hinges" because our neighbours had complained about the noise. The next day the maintenance man called again to repair the broken sink that we had complained about (we hadn't complained and the sink wasn't broken - he finished up "repairing the sink" and left. Guess what, yup, now the pull stopper in the sink refused to work. The next morning the toilet refused to flush, informed the front desk on the way out for the day and it had been repaired by that evening. I know that these faults occurr but there were too many visits by manitenance while we were there. The biggest fault with the room is the soundproofing. The street noise was incredible considering the windows are double glazed and we aere on the fourth floor. Very noisy at night with passing traffic... Room service was quite good. Overall I feel that the little extras that would make this hotel excellent are missing, the free bottled water upon arrival etc. Staff were generally helpful and polite. I would stay again but only if I found a very good deal online and not full price which i consider slightly over priced Close

I have just returned from a four night stay at Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel. I was with my 11 year old grandson and starting with the warm welcome by the Manager and staff, we felt like VIPs during our stay. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite which was extremely comfortable, spacious but with a cozy feel to it. Staff were always on hand for queries and assistance with how to get to "wherever". The facilities and services were excellent, including access to a local sports and fitness club which we did not avail of this time. We ate out mostly as the restaurant was a bit expensive for a child but with another adult I probably would have availed of it more. The location was excellent for 5th Avenue and Central Park and a $10 to $12 cab ride to Times Square, Rockefeller Centre etc. Would highly recommend Fitzpatricks to anyone going to New York and will definitely stay there again for my next bite of the "Big Apple". Fitzpatrick Manhattan is home from home. We are just back from a great week in New York having stayed in Fitzpatricks Manhattan, Lexington Avenue and visits to Fitzpatricks Grand Central Hotel. We felt minded from beginning to end - 24 hours a day. Rooms were excellently appointed with great luxury and style and the best of every furnishing and fitting and with many similarities to Fitzpatricks Killiney Castle, Dublin, Ireland. Food and service were exemplary at all times. The warmth and efficiency of management was tangible especially from John Fitzpatrick, Kate Simpson, Morris, Patrick, Chris and Jacqueline. Also a special mention for Josh the concierge who arranged all our theatre tickets and restaurant bookings. Last but not least to see the Irish Times (of the day) available every morning when we came down for breakfast was great. We can't wait to return.
